A study of feelings.

Loneliness is a large bed with only your pillow to hug.

Jealousy is watching him go with her.

So is heartbreak.

Anxiety is taking that first step.

So is excitement.

Fear is looking at the pillow and wondering whether it’s the only company you’ll ever get.

Hope is that moment when things start falling together instead of falling apart.

And a kiss you want more of when it’s over.

Sadness is a song on repeat that sings to your loneliness.

Happiness is that touch that helps you forget ever being alone.

And love? I haven’t figured it out yet.
